When it comes to the safety one should never use that are not certified as I say your head the computer of the body and the main purpose of helmet is to actually protect your brain from any damage. That’s why I always prefer DOT or Snell Certified or at least ECE certified.

Scorpion is a well known brand around USA and also available on Amazon. This was the first helmet that I bought in back 2019 when I started bike riding. Scorpion EXO R420 is a full face helmet specially designed for cruising, off-roading or street biking.
The quality of the helmet is awesome, it aerodynamics ventilation and interior all are good and well made. This one has Bluetooth ready speaker pockets and give you a feel like any expensive one. Lets talk about the features in detail.
Style and Safety:
Scorpion EXO R420 is a full face cruiser motorcycle helmet, is one of the best adventure helmet since 2017 & still in demand. This is a full face plus DOT and snell approved adult helmet.
Shell material:
The shell of this touring bike helmet is crafted with excellent quality polycarbonate material and features a multi-layer EPS liner, ensuring top-notch construction without compromise. Interior of the helmet is fully removable and washable and of good quality. Gives you a good fit, pads are very soft. In comfort I would say it is 9/10

This Scorpion carbon fiber helmet is easily one of my top picks. With its sleek design and certified safety features, it’s a winner. Plus, it’s loaded with perks like a built-in sun visor, custom fit system, and cool ventilation to keep you comfy on the road.
Style and safety:
It is a full face helmet best for cruising as it meets all safety standards of DOT and ECE.
Shell material:
The best feature of this helmet is the Carbon fiber shell which make it lightweight and durable. Shell is the outer covering of the helmet and Yeah, that’ll be the first layer. Unfortunately, if you happen to have an accident and get hit on the head, this will absorb the impact and reduce the force pushing your skull forward significantly.
Weight:
With all the features this helmet comes with much lower weight. Because of it carbon shell it feels lightest on your head and comfortable. The weight is about 3.2 pounds. Weight of this helmet is comparably low as compared to scorpion R420.
Ventilation:
When we come to ventilation I say it is fantastic. The helmet’s aerodynamics have been fine-tuned and make it sleek and well-balanced, giving you a smoother, quieter, and more stable ride. Plus, its ventilation system uses channels to speed up airflow, adjustable air intakes, and an exhaust system with a spoiler.
One thing I noticed in hot days that when I stuck on signals the temperature inside goes up, I think its beacause of its black color but when I start moving and open all the vents, it cools down nicely and becomes comfortable again.
Visor:
Great looking touring helmet with fantastic quality visor, operate smoothly and gives you protection against sun rays

- Field of view: The field of view is decent, but it could definitely be improved.
- Integrated sun visor: When I ordered I was lill bit confused about the fit and integrated sun-visor but it came with such a nice sun visor. In the beginning I feel the shutter was hard but after 2 days it was working perfect.
- Extra smoke visor: Extra smoke visors of the same helmet also available.
- Quality of visor: Quality of the visor is not bad.
Interior and Comfort:
Cruiser riders prioritize comfort above all else when it comes to their helmets. The removable, high-quality fiber padding not only ensures a snug fit but also allows for ample airflow.

- Communication systems: Mine came with installed communication system. Although it has deep speaker pockets which is again a plus point. Later I installed sena communication system that also working well
- Wind-tunnel tested: Yes the company worked appreciated on it aerodynamics, it cut off the air nicely and rider experience minimum drag and lift. It is a lightweight helmet air gives it a slight lift but if you get your perfect fit this excuse will be vanish
- Speaker pockets: As I already mentioned that it has deep speaker pockets
- Glasses friendly: It has integrated sun visor but I use it with my sun glasses. It has a little room for glasses but you can fit your glasses after some struggle
- Finish: Finish of the helmet is pretty good. Matte black finish of my helmets makes me happy
- Warrantee : It comes with 5 year warrantee
Value for money:
Well it is a mid-range helmet, light in weight plus snell approved in a decent amount. For this price it’s a good option for cruising and adventures.
Shoei Neotec II Best Cruiser Motorbike Modular Helmet:
Shoei Neotec II is a modular helmet, its aerodynamic shape and ventilation system makes it a perfect motorbike helmet for touring and adventure plus intercom ready design enables you to stay connected with your companion.
In 2020, my partner and I decided to dive into adventures together. Since my partner was new to riding and touring, I choose the Shoei Neotec II helmet. Its comfort and intercom-ready setup kept us connected during our rides, ensuring she stayed engaged and entertained throughout our journeys.
I tried many helmets before but now is the time I wanted the best Bluetooth dual sport helmet for adventure. At first, I thought this helmet was too expensive because similar helmets are available at lower prices. But then my wife suggested we give it a try. She said maybe we’ll have a good experience with it, especially since riders usually prefer branded helmets.

The helmet’s ventilation is great, especially the inlet vents. When riding on the highway at high speeds, you really need good airflow, and the chin vents deliver that perfectly. I also like how the shutters are big enough to easily operate, even with gloves on. Plus, the two-slide option on top is super easy to use with gloves, and the front vent pops up and down effortlessly, even with gloved hands.
Visor:
It also boasts a drop-down visor, sunglasses, blocking 99% of UV rays. The lever on the side operates smoothly, even with gloves. Though, I’d appreciate a little more…

Interior of the helmet is quite comfortable, the inner lining is breathable and washable plus SHOEI gives you different sizes of padding you can easily get your fit. This helmet guarantees a perfect fit with its five sizes of cheek pads, ensuring snugness. It also gives you a quick release system plus a micro ratchet.

Are you searching for the best cheap dual sport helmet? Then I have a good one for you. This is the ILM flip-up helmet with integrated Bluetooth helmet, available at a lower price, and it’s the best-selling dual sport helmet. If you can’t afford the expensive one like shoei , this helmet would be perfect for you. Also you can get an extra cheek pads if you want snugness.

This helmet strikes a great balance between affordability and quality, featuring integrated Bluetooth and a reliable sun visor. It’s not too pricey like top brands but offers comparable comfort and options, making it a popular choice, especially with its range of colors.
Style and safety:
This is a full face helmet with Bluetooth, it is certified by both DOT and ECE.
Shell:
Shell of this helmet is made up of ABS material. Available in 5 different sizes and extra optional paddings. When I ordered this one I was not sure about the size and fitting, when I received it and tried for the first time it was too loose to me. Then I contacted the seller and they send me suitable padding for fitting plus guided me to change the padding. Service of this seller was awesome. There is a link you can buy
Weight: Weight of the helmet is not too much, the exact is 3.9 pounds.
Ventilation: The helmet’s ventilation isn’t the best; it tends to fog up. However, I’ve found that opening the outer shield provides sufficient airflow to alleviate the issue.

The one thing is annoying to me about Bluetooth dual sport motorcycle helmets that their Bluetooth are not universal. The BM12 is also not universal, can’t pair with other brands motorcycle Bluetooth headsets, but it is compatible with FreedConn modular Bluetooth motorcycle helmet BM2-S, TCOM-SC and T-COMVB Bluetooth motorcycle communication system.
Value for money:
I bought this helmet in 2021 for me and I feel that Bluetooth could be better more but overall in the range of 250 dollars it is good. This would be the best choice for new riders when you use something yourself, you can better understand its pros and cons.
